Its massive health pool makes it nigh-impossible to win against in a 1v1 brawl, provided you're not in your own. The Leo, while lacking in an ability, has such high raw stats that it's classified as a massive threat as a Tier 2 robot. If waiting for reinforcements, try to evade it (as it has low speed), use any mobility-enhancing abilities to throw off its targeting or circle it as much as possible. Therefore, using teamwork and getting two or more bots to attack it at once is possibly the only way to take it down. In fact, in 1v1 brawl scenarios with other T2 robots, the Leo will almost always come out on top. The Leo is a formidable robot that may seem to be impossible to take down. It is less specialized than other heavy robots, lacking the Fury, Butch, and Natasha’s firepower when compared with sniping and falling short of the Lancelot in head on brawling due to its durable physical plating and Rush abiliy, but the Leo is one of the very few robots that can be configured for literally any combat range, has very high durability and can remain a significant threat on the battlefield long into the game. Overall, Leo is a solid robot with excellent versatility. Close-range weapons are ideal for this role, as in order to capture a beacon an enemy must get within 100m of the Leo which is a great range to use spread weapons at. As the Leo is unlikely to move much after reaching the beacon in this role, investing in full defensive/repair loadouts to prolong its time on the beacon will be a great choice. By standing in the middle of a beacon, the Leo acts as a massive turret with uncanny levels of health to attack anything that dares intrude on its territory. The Leo is a very proficient beacon defender, however its low speed will prove to be extremely frustrating when trying to follow the (probably) faster beacon cappers to the beacon it intends to defend. Anything that can repair the Leo should be brought along in this role, as when the Leo pulls out of a fight it will probably be at a critical durability level, so anything that can repair it will be a great asset to have in the battle. Sustained-damage weapons are ideal for this role as the Leo will probably be engaging for extended periods of time in this role. However, despite being more than capable of taking on 2 or even 3 enemies simultaneously, the Leo's commander should know when to pull out of a fight. In this scenario, the Leo should target one enemy at a time (preferably the one with the lowest health), as the quicker the Leo takes out robots, the less combined firepower the enemies will have and the Leo will take less damage. When acting as an area defender, the Leo will usually be under attack from multiple enemies at once. The Leo's singular drawback is the fact that its speed is not that great, so trying to deal as much damage as possible before the enemy runs away is a good tactic. While brawling the Leo should always make sure that the enemy stay within the ideal range of its weapons for as long as possible. When transitioning into the higher leagues, it is usually outclassed by other robots, but with highly upgraded Pilot skills, Module and a specialised Drone, the Leo can remain competitive even in Champion's League with its sheer durability and powerful loadout. Since it has one heavy and three light weapons Leo can also be used for mid-range and long-range support. In the lower leagues Leos are good for defending center beacon, especially on maps such as Yamantau and Dreadnought. Leo is good for brawling, area defense, and for holding beacons. In higher leagues the Leo is less commonly run due to its lack of mobility and limited passive module slots. The combination of high firepower and high durability make the Leo a formidable bot in the lower-leagues and potentially in the mid-leagues. The Leo has slow ground speed but strong firepower with 1 heavy and 3 light hardpoints, and the third-highest durability in the game (only the Raijin and Invader have more). The Leo is a heavy robot with 1 heavy and 3 light hardpoints.
